 About us.

Rafaël Staelens

is the author and initiator of the ECOVAproject.

The ECOVAproject is the continuation of his earlier writings on the validation of social, ecological, human and cultural values as an efficient means to adapt our man made money system in view of a full development of the human potential. (Essays published in Dutch since 1990.)

Yves Peeters graduated from the Antwerp Nautical College and holds a Ch. Mar. Eng. license.

For the last 20 years he travelled extensively and was based at many locations worldwide where he was involved with engineering and coordination of industrial projects. Apart from his professional skills, he developed a wide social awareness due to the many opportunities to meet with other cultures. This is how his commitment to a better world was born.

 Mission.

We aim at a global transformation enabling the transition towards a sustainable world of freedom, peace, leisure and abundance by bringing the benefits of new appropriate scientific and technological developments within the reach of all in harmony with the planetary ecological capacity.

Therefore we propose a monetary alternative, based on the value conversion of our basic (or prosumers) economy and the ecological capital into legal debt-free money. (see: summary)

This will allow us to create worldwide social, economic and ecological security; support the development of an ecoworld with global organic argriculture, ecohouses and green energy; and stimulate the transition to a sustainable planetary economy with technologies that will free people from the need to work.

The ECOVA proposal is an alternative that enables us to rethink our economy in view of a full development of the human potential. It includes the possibility to guarantee a universal (basic) income and doesn't exclude a possible evolution towards a moneyless society.

Finally, the ECOVAproject aims at a demystification of the money-system, helping people understand that money can be wathever we make it.
